Commonwealth Avenue is a major throughway that connects central Boston with Back Bay, Allston, Fenway, and other neighborhoods west of Boston. It has a heavy presence of bike infrastructure that makes it a pleasant and safe ride.

Southwest Corridor

The Southwest Corridor is a linear park that runs from Jamaica Plain up to Back Bay. Consisting of separated bike and walking lanes, the Southwest Corridor is an accessible place for people to use either as a means of traveling around Boston on a bike, or as a recreational space to relax in.

Dorchester Avenue

Dorchester Avenue is a high-traffic street that runs from Mattapan through Dorchester and into central Boston. Consisting of mostly sharrows and unprotected bike lanes, riding on Dorchester Avenue is not for the inexperienced rider and requires constant vigilance for cars and pedestrians.
